Nikhil Patel, Trading Coach
With a background in aeronautical engineering and being a natural entrepreneur, Nikhil recognized the marketable opportunity with Forex when he first joined Trading Post. Nikhil is one of our student-turned-instructor success stories.
Nikhil takes pride in trading and teaching by keeping his techniques simple. His focus is on candlesticks, price, and time action. “Be a trend setter, not a trend follower,” he says, “Basically when I see it is time to jump off the plank, I go for it!” His confidence and passion for self-improvement are reasons why traders are attracted to Nikhil’s Online Trading Classroom sessions.
“The reason why I teach is because a teacher becomes good at [trading Forex] as long he keeps on learning from his own teaching process. It is also fulfilling to help others enjoy the learning process,” says Nikhil.

Tanya Harrison holds a Series 7 license from the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA), as well as a finance degree and experience in the commodities arena having worked for the second largest commodity pool operator in the United States. She sought a way to leverage her professional skills while raising her young children, and therefore turned to trading Forex. “What could be better for me than Forex?” Tanya thought.
Since joining Trading Post in 2005 as a student, Tanya quickly accelerated to become an accomplished trader. Because of her nature to help as many people possible and other traders seeking her for advice and mentoring, Tanya’s transition to become a Moderator was a natural one. She adds, “I just love trading and helping other traders become successful.”
Tanya brings her swing trading experience with a very relaxed trading style using multiple disciplines to the coaching team.
