For a listing of what new additions and changes we’ve made, after the new download is completed, login and go to the software’s main window, select "Help", then choose "What’s New", from there a webpage will open listing all of the changes and improvements.

Potential Problems:
Clients may see the following message:
"FXChart Application is running, Please Close all FXChart Applications First!"

Resolution for Windows Vista and Windows 7 users:
Windows Vista spotlights many new security features.  When initially installing the Charts on a Windows Vista computer an extra step is required (NOTE: These steps are on the download page already, and have been since Vista was released). If this step was missed, the client will see the above error message.  To resolve this issue, please have your client do the following:
1.       Right-click on the Chart icon on your desktop. 
2.       Click on "Properties". 
3.       Select the "Compatibility" tab. 
4.       Check the box for "Run this program as an administrator" under "Privilege Level" menu.
5.       Click "OK"- Then you client can log into the Charts again and the update will complete without any error

Resolution for all other Windows users:
Certain security softwares will not allow/corrupt the Auto Update Process, resulting in the error message seen above.  For these non-Vista users, please have them follow these steps:
1.       Reboot their computer. 
2.       Once restarted, temporarily disable any security software (such as Norton, AVG, Zone Alarm, etc). Then your client can log into the Charts again and the update will complete without any error.

We are changing the name of MoneyTrek FX, we found it was confusing for clients to differentiate between the tool "MoneyTrek" within the software and the product itself, "MoneyTrek FX", the new name for MoneyTrek FX is IntelliChart Desktop Lite, or Desktop Lite for short.

For those of you who want to post with Windows Live Writer on your Trading Metro blog, follow these steps:

1. Login to Trading Metro and at the top of the Trading Metro bar, navigate to “My Blogs > THE NAME OF YOUR BLOG > Dashboard“.

2. This will take you to your blog’s dashboard where you will see a new bar directly underneath the Trading Metro bar.

   Click on “Settings > Writing“.

3. Under the heading “Remote Publishing” make sure that the “XML-RPC” tickbox is checked.

   Click on “Save Changes“

4. Now, go ahead and install Windows Live Writer.
5. Once you have Windows Live Writer installed, open it and navigate to “Blogs > Add Blog account…”

6. On the next screen, click on “Other blog service“.  Hit “Next“.

7. Enter the URL of your Trading Metro blog in the “Web Address of your blog” field.

   If you do not know your blog URL, an easy way to find this is by navigating to the top of your Trading Metro bar and selecting “My Blogs > THE NAME OF YOUR BLOG”.  Click on this link and copy the URL from the address bar.

8. Enter your username (or email address) and password in this screen as well and select “Remember my password”.
   Click “Next“.
   
   
9. Type in the name of your blog for “Blog Nickname” and hit “Finish”.
10. Your blog is now setup in Windows Live Writer!  You can now start writing your post.

To create a new blog on TradingMetro:

1. Login to Trading Metro and at the top of the Trading Metro bar, navigate to “My Blogs > Create a Blog!“.
   

2. This will take you to the “Create a Blog” page where you can fill in the Blog URL and title of your new blog.

   Blog URL: Take a moment and think of a unique URL address for your blog. This is important as your new blog will reside at www.tradingmetro.com/YOURBLOGNAME/.

   Blog Title: The title of your new blog. If you need help thinking of an original title for your blog, let us know! We like to think we’re creative!

3. Once you’re ready, click on the “Create Blog »” button and your new blog should be ready.

It’s that easy!

Now that you’ve created your blog, you’ll probably want to write a new post on your new blog.
